Chocolate Avocado Mousse

I know avocado can be a love it or hate it fruit - But don't knock it until you try it! It's got some other yummy ingredients & it's packed with sooo much goodness. So even if you don't like all the ingredients I'd urge you to give it a go, you may be pleasantly surprised! I
This healthy nutritious chocolate mousse is packed with fibre & healthy unsaturated fats. These fats help lower undesirable LDL cholesterol so why not give it a go!

This recipe is technically for 4 portions, but they will be very small!! So, as it was the weekend, I divided my mixture into 2!


  1. One medium avocado (flesh only)  - the flesh of mine weighed 130g
  2. 100g banana
  3. The juice & zest of one small orange
  4. 25g cocoa powder
  5. 25g honey- you may need a smidge more depending on how sweet you'd like it - but go steady - you could also use maple syrup as an alternative.


  1. Add all the ingredients into a food processor & simply blend until smooth.
  2. Spoon the mixture  into you ramekins or glasses.
  3. And refrigerate.

  1. Calories - 221
  2. Carbohydrate - 29.3g
  3. Fat - 8g
  4. Protein - 3.8g
